The amount of times he's spoke about us this summer, he's annoying me to be honest, he was talking about Paul Pogba, again, today.

Really, I highly doubt it, Jose Mourinho can read Arsene Wenger like a book.

Of course not, he is far too sly for that, bit like Jose never mentioning Whenger when he spoke of a specialist in failure :emoticon-0100-smile

Not a chance, he only plays the game with people he can beat, that is why he never played it with Fergie <ok>

    Projection me thinks.

He merely said he personally wouldn't spend 100 million on one player and gave a reason why.

No mention of United, No mention of The Mental One, No mention of a specific player. He even stated he didn't care what other clubs did as it wasn't his business.

I posted his comments in full earlier in the thread to help you all out.

Only in paranoid fevered little brains could what he said be taken as a directed insult.

So he grabbed the £100m figure out of the air then, it could just as easily been £80m or maybe even £60m since he claims he would rather buy cheap and develop players. He just happened to quote a figure linked to nobody except us (even though it was well out) <ok>

Nope...it's really straight forward. He was asked about Pogba and 100M. He didn't state that Pogba wasn't worth 100M. He didn't say United are bad or mistaken for spending that amount of money on one player. He simply said he personally wouldn't spend that amount of money on one player ...giving the "what if he got injured" example. Purely stating a personal preference.

He then, being interviewed about his own clubs business not others and wanting to talk about that rather than someone else, went on to say how he liked to build a team and that if his club just went out and bought the top 11 players in the world he'd be out of a job as that's not how he does his job...he likes to discover players...again that's expressing a personal preference not criticising others.

As I said projection. Just because the Mental one only opens his mouth with a view to getting a reaction from someone, "please anyone, ANYONE!!???"....he believes everyone else is that sly, egotistical and manipulative

Nothing Klopp has done so far suggests he thinks in any way the same as Mourinho...about any aspect of football..they have polar opposite approaches to their job. Is one better than the other? Depends on what you want and what you're prepared to accept to get it I suppose.

I do applaud United fans for hoping the best..rather than thinking Mourinho is already having mind game battles that appear to only exist in his head..I'd be worried that the signs of instability of recent times are already starting to show before a balls been kicked but there you go....

I don't think anybody would say he isn't playing mind games, who with and why is more the point.

Nope lol..just my opinion on Klopp and Mourinho.

It's clear the media want to claim some battle of words...it sells. I just think at least in regards to "Klopp v Mourinho" it's one sided. Dunno about Wenger as I don't know what he said and I'm not really interested.

I just think because of Fergie, you lot assume every manager thinks "mind games" exist or are even relevant between managers. We had a couple of managers that clearly did too. I just don't think Klopp is interested tbh.

But let's say I'm wrong and it was some Kloppievellian plot. Seems to have worked. One little comment and Mourinho has reacted and continued to react for a week without further prompting needed from Klopp.

Not bad for a Klopp wum attempt if so...:emoticon-0105-wink:

Don't waste your time explaining it Frank. They'll all just choose to interpret it the way it suits them to.
