I see no-one has countered Chippy yet but it's early days and the game thread is relatively quiet.

Not sure what Chippy's result is meant to be as surely he would get more than person investigated has a role and could be on any team!!

Therefore, waiting for a while today to see if anyone does counter Chippy's claim as I'm not convinced by that result.

Good morning Town of Salem. To quote Taggart, “there’s been a murrderrr.” A fresh body wound up in the Salem Morgue last night. As I was busy rooting around the possessions of the dead, a body was wheeled in – the unmistakable sinewy form of Beardsley. He seemed fine, apart from the small detail of his head being in a jar beside the body, instead of affixed to his neck – such snazzy garrotting could only be done by someone with a love for massive wheels of cheese, or a member of the Mafia. Poor Beardo, he was the BODYGUARD.


Phew. Eventful. I wonder if anyone else got up to much last night?

And by extension if he says you are a "bad guy" then that's also false?

I can fully see that the rules post and what ACS reported are not lining up. but god knows. I do know you have voted for him and thats why he was after you.

I know i am town so that means its 5 v 3 v 1 v 1 (or more) so 5v5 choice.

I am going to go with ACS call unless someone contradicts this.

IMO the mafia are very close to a win with 3 players v 5 so only need to sit back and top anyone they feel like therefore its time to just vote as best lead until its contradicted.

My view is this:

IBWT - I am suspicious due to a couple of things. tired ot use valley death to blame only newkie fans and also said he was not on but i know he was yesterday <ok>
Get Ritchie - no idea
DPP - 3 vote swaps yesterday. nev to must to tah. don't know that says anyhting.
Valley town sheriff mafia killed him.
ACS i says he is investigator
Mustyfrog - don't know. voted mikey.
Penfold possibly executioner. went for ACS consistently so... thats a guess.
MITO - I know i'm town. beleive it or not, your choice.
Mikey - can't tell.

Not sure that No Chance is bad guy either given my reservations about Chippy. He did make logical point about voting which I missed due to editing.

If you're about Chippy what does your investigation of me say?

There is an ARSONIST in the game.

I know this as I got doused last night. I am claiming this so if you want to contradict fine.

<ok> this puts me at direct risk tonight of dying but i don't really care as IMO its game over if we don't fess up info.

basically either ACS is lying and theres an investigator that says nothing all say or he's not.

and thats why i plumped for the neville vote early.

Problem I have with Chippy's result is that to me it's not a result. It's saying No Chance can be a role in one of the three teams. I could have guessed that No Chance would be in one of the three teams. I would have expected either the person investigated was on a particular team or was a particular character. This obviously is subject to the Don result being Town regardless and no hand on heart I am not the Don.

1. I think the role claimed and results confused things. I don't understand the result compared to the rule book for the role.

2. ACS claimed this prior to the paper. This as in case he died. I thought nah you are never dying if you are in a tie lynch vote. however another person did die.. and i expected more. therefore I think this helps him cos barring mafia having investigated beardlsey using Consigliere role and knowing then why take the risk???

3. Mafia have 3 people v 5 town. unless theres vampires or werewolves rising in my view there's an easy mafia win on the cards so the risk only makes sense if he thought he'd be lynched for sure tonight again.... agai nif someone is lyning about a role then the real investigator knows it and despite the sheriff being topped as well they need ot thnk hard cos holding on prob plays into mafia hands.

4. down to ACS to say what you are next penfold. you survived again.. as i said I if were mafia I'd be concerned about you so the fact is <whistle> here you are... I'm easily led astray but you... you're too good at this but thats my thing.. here you are still... why have you not got killed...
