In london they were (still are to aquite a degree) very, very popular with the irish population. I also know a fair few priests and nuns who support them.

I identified one statement made by an organisation that I concede I don't hold in particularly high regard that I feel accurately represents the situation. Do you have difficulty in understanding that?

what is it that you don't understand then laddie? please don't say that I ignore the facts. you know this is not true and equally, a bit rich coming from someone who fabricates them.

For the record, it was Everton that was the catholic club.

That's how I got away with calling an Asian a "PAKI" recently. I said it was an acronym:
    Polite
    And
    Kind
    Indian

Really? How come you get so many Irish people who support both Celtic and Liverpool?

True. It was just lazy on my part based on the fact that 80% of the kids at my school supported Liverpool as did a rake of the teachers and priests so i always just make the connection. It's also true they're very popular in london.

Apologies to anyone for any, unintended, offence caused.

You get a lot of them at OT as well to be fair. Usually drunk, wearing a silly hat and sporting both an official megastore bought kit and a green and gold scarf.

Yes, really. It has changed somewhat over the years, but as you were saying "historically", I thought you might want to know the truth!

I've just got back from the Garda station where I was getting forms stamped for my car tax. Anyway on my way out a sergeant and a fine looking bean-garda were coming in so, I took up Medro's challenge and said ''I'd love to kill some Huns.'' to which the sergeant without blinking replied '' me too, the horrible ****s.''

Medros challenge fails here in the Saor Stait <ok>

Do you really not get it? You quote Nil By Mouth from god knows where you got that quote because it suits your argument then you reject the same group of people for publishing on their website that the word hun is sectarian.

So when people on here from N.I, numerous Internet links and reports from a well respected newspaper define the meaning of Hun in Northern Ireland, you automatically dismiss them.

But didn't you "guess" before that it meant the Unionist community?
