Looking at the bbc football web-site,Palace are looking to spend 32 million to buy Benteke,Arsenal are looking to buy Bony for 30 million, and what are we looking to do?Spend 8 million on Naismith!!What a bloody joke!We used to be a club that shopped in the top leagues, but not now!!
I went in Harrods once didn't buy owt, there was nowt I fancied. Maybe there's nowt we fancy, maybe we are looking in House of Fraser. I think a lot might happen next 48hours.
Don't think we are scratching around Poundland just yet but we are deffo around Farmfoods standard !!
I'm not sure we're shopping anywhere. Maybe using a few left over vouchers to see what we can pick up on offer. Prove me wrong Sunderland!
But Palace are flogging Bolasie for 30m.... Arsenal have bought like 2 good players in the last 10 years, so must have a significant war chest collecting dust.
I will reserve judgement until the end of the window. We usually make one expensive signing: Gyan, Fletcher, AJ, Rodwell all came for big money. So I do expect us to sign someone. I just hope it works out better than that lot.
I read on here last night its a buy 2 get 1 free deal with Januzaj on loan. Does anyone have any more about it?
Will I have read the post and have an ironic smile on my face, therefore maybe joke shop, remember them
Dunno mate but that'd be a good deal. Three players who all have it in them to be very good. If it was Blackett I'd be laughing at you.
You said yesterday morning that Love was decent. Then the rumours spread last night and everyone is going mental. Seems you have a tough audience here. Mind you have actually seen him.
If you believe the press we'd have to date in pre-season signed approximately 100 players. Don't believe papers putting names with clubs, 99.9% of the time they're wrong, it's always the case that a new manager gets linked with their old players.
We do not create very much revenue as Premier clubs go perhaps because we are regarded as unfashionable so don't attract great sponsorship deals. The Sunderland crowd have a part to play in this as if they created the type of atmosphere week in week out that we did at the end of last season it would undoubtedly make us a more attractive proposition. Judging by the reaction on social media, our fans are going to be as moany as ever and on the teams back from the off. I can't believe the negativity generated because one of our players might want to leave.
