Patience might be a virtue but it's been sorely tested too. Interesting read..... http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/14372121.stm
What a load of nonsense. Things look better with Paul Jewell - but I wouldn't lose any sleep if Evans walked away today. Maybe this story is buttering us up for whatever bad news is coming on Saturday - 'The Marcus Evans Stadium' or whatever.
You would not lose sleep if Evans walked away!! Our club would be in tatters if he walked away. The man has poured millions of pounds of his own money into the club and it seems like he is one of the more decent benefactors who backs the manager and does not appear to interfere. I think we are very lucky to have him. Unfortunately I think he made a terrible mistake in appointing Keane and one reason why he probably would be loosing patience is from the amount of money he has spent and we have gone backwards, but in a way that is his own fault in trusting someone like Keane with his money!!!
What Clegg is saying is that Keane and Magilton tested his commitment because they took the club backwards and their tenure was frustrating for ME, hardly a suprise is it? Things are looking up under Jewell and I can only see things getting better and ME becoming more committed.
I would not want Evans to walk away, because that would leave us in a potentially bad spot financially. I don't think he will leave, though, because the reward for reaching the Premiership would be huge!
If you think that's bad JWM have you seen the toss that the Green Un / Star have been putting up on their site?!
A quality publication such as Green Un? Toss? Can't believe it Hamps.... how could you suggest such a thing?
its clearly a non-story. however, for yorkie to suggest he'd 'lose no sleep' if it happened... my word - you'd be totally screwed!! i'm sure it won't happen anyway, at least, not yet
Good to see you on here Supers Has 12 yards finally closed down due to the lack of Ipswich contributers on there!
