I know not everybody really cares much, but amid all the doom and gloom surrounding City, one club is having a whale of a time. Might as well get down there on Saturday. This is a brilliant idea, though and it's a great way to get more people through the gates at the EVM stadium. North Ferriby United - LIVE! Hull Kingston Radio are delighted to announce we’ll be working with North Ferriby United for the brand new 2016-17 Vanarama National League campaign. The new season is sure to be an exciting one for North Ferriby United, as last season’s promotion from the Conference North ensures the club will now compete at the highest level in their history - and crucially, places the Villagers just one division away from the English Football League. To mark the occasion, Hull Kingston Radio will be providing LIVE full match commentary from all North Ferriby United’s home games this season, as the Green and White army seek to write more success stories against the odds, into their history books. The coverage commences with the first game of the season - North Ferriby United v Braintree at the Eon Visual Media Stadium - on Saturday 6th August, with the club keen to instigate a celebratory, family atmosphere that is set to include entertainment with a kids mini-game, a half time penalty shoot out competition and much more, as the season unfolds. Hull Kingston Radio will be there, for every home game, providing full, live and uninterrupted commentary throughout 2016-17 campaign to ensure you won’t miss any of the big match action. I shall be going to NFU on Saturday. Looking forward to a good game against last seasons 3rd place club Braintree.
You're either really patronising NFU or youre a plastic. Terrible owners don't drive away proper fans. I'm pissed off with them, I wont join the membership scheme, but I would not suddenly start supporting a different team. I might go to some games and pay on the day. I will bide my time til we have new owners. I might even go to see other teams play like Posh. But only as a spectator not as anything else.
There's a parallel in that they seem to be about as big an underdog in their division as we are in ours at the moment.
Ferriby's first away game not going so well.... Currently Lincoln City 4- 0 North Ferriby 0 Ferriby down to ten men.....
Not kept up on Ferriby so.much the last year or so, used to go a lot when city where not at home. Food is superb. Do they stand any chance in the national league??? I know they have lost heath.
We should be laughing at the goals going in seeing as NF will be our rivals when Ehab has finished his work.
Not really, they played well enough on Saturday against Braintree. Lincoln are now 7-0 up but they'll win the league this season, they're very good. Ferriby could stay up, but they're punching well above their weight and their budget is that of most Evostik sides.
No it did indeed finish 6-1, my mate is at the game and a little bit pissed, apparently Lincoln cheered a bit when Ferriby scored and he got confused.
