Well I was hopeful and really looking forward to this game, now with all this bullshit about our best player being sold.

One new signing and a few injuries to our best players (Defoe, kirchof) I'm as sick as ****..

The club really should be saying something man it's taking the piss now..

Everton had the Indian sign on us but Moyes had an appalling record against us when he was manager of the filthy rags

    I'm not risking it....

Joking aside mate, I have one of them sneaky feelings it ain't as cut and dried as it looks. There is a lot of pressure on them and Pep is struggling with his defensive shape.

He will get there but playing hem early may be n advantage.

So how are we going to line up? My opinion:

    G: Mannone

    RB: Rodwell
    LB: Van Aanholt
    CB: Kone
    CB: Kaboul

    DM: Cattermole
    DM: Kirchhoff

    LM: Khazri
    AM: Lens
    RM: Borini

    CF: Defoe

Kirchhoff is the one I'm not too sure of due to his fitness? Might be Djilobodji in there? The rest I think will start. Lens and Borini may swap.

To me, weakest part of that is the obvious right back slot and it doesn't matter who plays there we're weaker than a can of Kaliber in an alcoholics beer collection!

I look at that team and still see a potentially bloody good side. Well maybe not Rodwell, but if the rest are on their game, thats a ****ing good basis of a team.

Have to agree, it's not far short and that's where the frustration comes in.

Yep. Hoy M. Vila back in place of Catts, new RB and everything is gravy. Wafer thin squad, but a potentially bloody good first 11.

Well thank god the football season is starting again, it'll be nice to have a distraction from this stupid ****ty transfer window, the whole things just really boring now. I'm hoping that we can put in a good performance, I'm not really expecting anything from the game but saying that I'd give us a slim chance of maybe nicking a point and pissing on pep's parade but I can see city having too much firepower and winning it by a couple of goals. I'd predict 3-1 to City but with some decent performances for us to build on.
team prediction, we've probably only got about 11 fit senior plays so they will have to play I guess.

I would rather anybody at right back than Rodders, he did not look that impressive there to me pre-season and the defence improved when J Robson came on imo, and we were up against there better players in the second period. Shame Lars is out as I think he can do a job for us in that position and we also have Love, its all we need, according to JL. :emoticon-0115-inlov

    Rodwell----McNair
    Borini----Khazri----Lens
    Defoe
No way Kone's head will be in the right place, he's just been fined, the fans aren't happy, he won't have trained much this week. Think he'll be on the bench.
