I hope we start taking Cup games seriously. I don't think at present we have much of a chance in getting top 6 in the league , so I'd like to see us have a good run in the cups. I think the squad has a chance in one off games, and we'd put in good performances in against Premier teams. Orient will be looking to beat and get a scalp, just like we used to do in the 90's. If we progress in the cups and put in good performances against top clubs, then our profile will get better, getting to Wembley would be great boost. So will Jokanovic put out the same team as for Newcastle, or will he chop and change like last season, trying to save his first team from injury against an enthusiastic Orient side ? I think he'll change half the team. ----------Bettinelli ----------Grimmer Stearman Kalas Malone ---------McDonald Tunnicliffe ---------Ayite Parker LVC ------------Woodrow
I'd like to see Grimmer given a run out. Haven't heard much of him for a while and this would seem an ideal game for him.
He was injured but back in training now. The side the boss picks could well depend on other injuries; Bettinelli and Sessegnon in particular.
I would def change it up think we will be to strong for them... Can see Stearman, Parker, LVC, Sessegnon, Betts and Woodrow all starting!!
Nothing from the Club on the injury front, so I'm go take a punt. Reckon he'll change this around quite a bit, much like in the pre-season games, and also give youth a chance. .....................Joronen................. ..Grimmer...Stearman ..Madl..Sessegnon ................Tunnicliffe...Parker... ......LVC.......De La Torre....Kavanagh.. .................Woodrow..... If Ryan Sessegnon still isn't fit, Tayo Edun could well be his replacement. More likely though is that Scott Malone will get more game time under his belt.
-------- Joronen ----- Odoi Stearman Madl Sessegnon ----- Parker LVC -------- Ayite Cairney De La Torre -------- Woodrow
I won't hazard a guess at the line up but do hope that Stevie Humphrys gets some game time. Doubt he would start but would be good for him to maybe get half an hour as a sub.
Couldn't agree more FAB. Think he's duty bound to give Woodrow the spot though. Hey, might surprise us and play both - Stevie has played the N0.10 role in the U18s.
I'd make as few changes as possible and pick the strongest team available. Let's keep the momentum going from Friday night and not take Orient for granted. At this stage of the season the players won't have a problem with playing Friday, Tuesday, Saturday.
Just Noticed Grimmer and Bodurov haven't got squad numbers given to them on the Official players profile website. So I guess Grimmer might not make the lineup.
And the team is ... young! LVC's in there Cookie. .....................Joronen.............. ..Kavanagh...Stearman..Ream...Sessegnon.. ............Parker....Adeniran....Edun.. .....Christensen......De La Torre... ...................Woodrow..... And as SuperBri said no place for Bodurov (to be expected) and Grimmer (mystery?)
1-0 Adeniran. That is one super young team. Nice to see a good start from Sessegnon and hopefully we can actually integrate some of these youngsters over the rest of the season.
Kavanagh is terrible at corners. He completely missed that first Leyton Orient player... But seriously, that was a very nice delivery.
