Is it safe to come in yet you ****ing fairies Kone is heading back to the north east as we speak. Like I've maintained, he isn't going anywhere
Everton make second offer for Lamine Koné According to Foot Mercato, Premier League side Everton have made a second offer for Sunderland defender Lamine Koné after an opening €18m bid was rejected. Everton are said to have made a second offer, this time worth €21m in an attempt to prise the player away from David Moyes’s side. Talks are ongoing between the two clubs, with Everton having offered Koné a 5 year contract in the meantime.
On Kone: @PAdugout now reporting no deal in place for Kone and he is due back at #SAFC on Wednesday. "One of many" Everton are looking at.
Agreed mate. By all accounts, Kone made his way straight down there with his agent in the hope of getting a deal done.
Shown his true colours. That's why I'm not desperate for him to stay. He'd rather be elsewhere so **** him off and get somebody in who wants to be here.
I'm planning about 5 trips, Smithy haha. I'll definitely give you a shout, I'll try and come over when they are playing a bottom half team then I might stand a good chance of getting a ticket?
If this is true then to also allow himself to be photographed with a bloke in an Everton strip shows a lack of respect to the club and to the fans. Surely we must have been aware that he had made his way down there though. I'd probably bet that the club sent him down there to try and quicken any deal up. Speak and agree personal terms before a fee has been agreed in order to potentially save time and give us a little more breathing space on our own incomings. He's possibly agreed personal terms and is just waiting for the nod that we have agreed a fee and/or that we have a replacement signing.
I have to defend Bob here. Murray genuinely didn't have have the anywhere near the money to bank roll a Premier League Club. He was just a small time local millionaire, probably with Lottery winners bagging bigger fortunes than he had. Miles apart from cash Short has. Add to the he genuinely loved the club and left us with a Stadium and Facilities we own outright. Bob did a cracking job imo. Left us something to build on. Now we just need someone to build on it.
I am glad Kone is staying with us now as Everton have signed Ashley williams (who is a bargain at £12m), great news I like Kone very much, big strong defender, like Kaboul. Come on Ellis we want to keep our best players, now go out and bankroll Bony's deal please. Sammy nasri would be brilliant as well !
Don't worry lads we have apparently agreed a fee with Manchester Utd for................. Mcnair and Love........ WHO??? If that was Fellaini and Januzaj I might forgive the club for selling Kone.
