Do you honestly think that Chico playing division 3 football for the past 24 months is the required level of CB we should be aiming for?
I do ....I'd take Chico Flores right now , no questions asked and no answers given . Besides being a great player he has character , an intangible.... that effects others .Sorry , We all have opinions .
I follow him on Fb, he still follows the swans. Always liked him, his tendency to feign injury after a tackle was a bit too much but he always played his heart out.
Once Williams has officially signed for Everton I think we'll go in for calum chambers on loan. He was linked with us when the first Williams rumours came to light. Gutted he's going but we need to move on and fast. There's not many defender's with the same credentials as Ash out there. I think we may struggle to get a suitable replacement in such a short notice now. All I hope it's that the defender's that we already have are ready to step up and put themselves on the line, like Ash always did. All I know of chambers is that montero completely ruined him at the liberty. I just hope we don't go for players like Richards or lescot from villa
Bony has been left out in the cold at Citeh, and with his value halved by Citeh, then we should get him back, as long as he is realistic about his wages. I know we have signed, well almost, two strikers, but Bony is a zero risk transfer, it's not easy for strikers to hit the ground running, when coming into the Premier league, and while I like the look of Lion King, I think that Baston will be the only real goal scorer that we have at the minute, and with Ayew gone and his 12 goals as well, Bringing back Bony is a no brainer............
I hope not mate, the last thing we need is an out of form low on confidence, going backwards centre half, he would be 4th choice at best and yet another light weight defender. Cant see Arsenal letting anyone ago as it stands as they have both Centre backs injured. but even if they would, woudnt want Chambers.
I'm being flippant valley with Ayew and Ash.... i could not give two hoots about ash as we have done well without him before.....There are not many player i would bring back to the club but we did make an error of not going for Scott Sinclair when he was up for grabs.....I dont think i would bring Bony back tbh as he is a bit slow for me now and have been found out at Man City as not very good and not worth the wages he commands now.....Not one big or average club has been interested in him and i cant see him fitting into guildo's playing style.....We need better and quicker than Bony now....
Chico, whilst a decent footballer made me feel embarrassed that he was one of our players with all his play acting. Very popular guy, but not the type of person I want playing for my team.
