Was at the KCOM stadium about 1430 hrs today and spotted the former City owner/chairman getting out of his grey Range Rover and striding purposefully about his egg-chasing business. His Simon Cowell style hair is greyer now than it was when he was at City and he seems to have shed some timber. Cutting to the quick I enquired "Are you going to buy City, Adam ?" Slight pause. "No chance" said with slight smile/grimace. Further 2 second pause. "It's a madhouse" said with patented AP serious frown. At least that's what I thought he said. It might just have been "It belongs to Allamhouse"or even "It's a ****house". And with that he continued towards the Hull Sharks office.
Basically; City Man: Are you gonna buy the club? Adam Pearson: No. City Man: IS PEARSON GONNA BUY THE CLUB?
Its a more in-depth interview then anyone on the local media have managed with any potential buyers of the club. At least he got a quote.
Ah but City Man said there was a slight pause before Pearson answered the question, so he considered it. So City Man could have headlined his thread: ADAM PEARSON CONSIDERS BUYING CITY.
I offered 5 times the asking price for the SMC the ****s didn't even contact me. Up for sale my arse.
I did consider as a thread title starting with "BREAKING:...." but played safe with "EXCLUSIVE:" Also pondered wishing Wire all the best, but noblesse oblige, old boy.
I'm very interested in buying City. I'll wait for a PM from some dimwit who's an Allam fan on here & could actually be Ehab in disguise as I suspect none could actually be that stupid unless they were actually Ehab, despite me calling Ehab stupid, I do expect a PM.
I pray someone comes in & buys City soon so we can get rid of the Allams once & for all. They obviously have no interest in City anymore & think failing to employ a new manager, failing to sign a single player in the summer & sacking the 1st team coach is the way to prepare for the coming season!!!. This could have been the season we established ourselves in the Premier League & stopped being a yo-yo club. The Allams have now made that virtually impossible & they do not deserve to own team in the Premier League. No manager wants to come here, we are last in the queue for players & the selling clubs knowing we are desperate will double their price. Shocking tactics by the Allams & the sooner they are gone & someone who has the best interests of the club takes over the better.
I will buy City for £80m, borrowed from the £100m incoming in the next 12 months, see piece of piss buying football clubs eh
That was pretty much what the Glazers did at Man Utd I think. They got a big loan based on future income from the very business they were buying.
