I dont deny it was an excellent service he gave in that respect, it's just not the job of a MarComms manager and demonstrates why the club has done no effective MarComms recently!
I think they should give it to Meyler, he finds the time to answer each call personally - just the sort of 'can do' attitude they're looking for.
Syd , never met him but he uses phrases like 'Product' when refering to Hull City. That's why I don't like him. He has all the hallmarks of spin doctor. He chose to be Marketer so can't complain when people dislike him.
Look, I knew James Mooney before he joined the ranks of Hull City Tigers. He was a creep then, he's a creep now. I said it on here years ago.
Why not try bringing the Supporters onside rather than 'monetising websites' like his linked in profile says.
Indeed , but I prefer to do jobs that I am happy doing what I am told to do. Otherwise you are not being true to youself. If he's happy with what he's being told to do that's up to him and his conscience.
Perhaps the reason he's leaving for Leeds tells you your answer? And by the way, I'm in a job where at the moment I'm pretty unhappy with being told I have to work on the weekend. That doesn't mean I quit though.
Good for him , at least he's seen the light. Little bit irrational on my part but I have an issue with Marketers in general trying to squeeze every last $ out of anything and using cringe worthy expressions
Ash Lord is now also leaving, such a waste, he should have been put in charge not sidelined (though I suspect he's now grateful he wasn't).
I would imagine they all have something to go to and will have been looking for a while due to the uncertainty at the club. Good luck to them all.
Mooney's role also includes personal valet to Lord Allam. A bit like Bates/Lord Grantham in Downton Abbey.
