If we lose Williams , we will get another CB eventually . Even with Fernandez injured , I'm excited to see Amat and VanDer Hoorn being thrown right in . I think they will be a good pairing when called upon .and both might be fighting for the spot beside Fernandez . 35 million for Williams and Ayew is good business , and we will be making their wishes happen . Both have earned they're say on they're futures IMO
Some idle speculation http://www.101greatgoals.com/news/transfers/updates-ashley-williams-move-swansea-everton-express/
I'd be gutted to loose Ash! But if he wants to go and the money is right (£15+M) then we need to act quickly to get a replacement in.
More speculation, of course I don't believe it until the club announces it http://www.football-espana.net/59979/swansea-complete-borja-deal

Sky sources saying Everton have made a £17 million bid for Kone from Sunderland and that he's going for a medical. Perhaps even Ash is staying after all?
Who knows what will happen till it happens. Roof you think it would be ok to go into a new season with just 2 fit central defenders. If he leaves we have to get a new one in asap, even if we are happy with the three we have.
These 'Sky Sources' are full of crap normally, think these so called sources are cleaners at clubs with a glass to the wall trying to listen to what is being said
Not sure why you ask ?... Seeing I said we need to replace Williams , and Fernandez isn't a series injury so there will be 3 CB till the 4th arrive . I'm only saying there is a silver lining to a couple of games with Amat and Van Der Hoorn thrown into the deep end .
Sky Sources - Ash has said goodbye to Swansea squad, £12 million fee agreed, on his way for a medical and a 2 year deal.
EVERTON CLOSE ON WILLIAMS Everton have wasted little time in strengthening their central defence after agreeing a £12m deal with Swansea for their captain Ashley Williams. The 31-year old defender, who skippered Wales during their successful Euros campaign in France over the summer, said his goodbyes at the club's training ground this morning. He's expected to travel to Merseyside later this afternoon to carry out a medical ahead of signing a two-year old.
Th difference is that it will be expected that United will return to top 4 just like Chelsea. Liverpool on the fringes of top 4. Nobody would expect that of West Ham really.
Bye Bye, off you go. Just hope we sign a new defender. 12m for a 32 year old, has to be good money and we now need to sign a big strong combative experienced centre half. I like both Amat and Fernandez, but they are just physically a little weak.
