Burns suggesting on twitter that he might be wrong - or at least that someone at the club has told him he is
They had a chain of supermarkets that they sold for a billion to pay off debts. One would have thought they would be able to make a profit from a business that big, must have been to the same dodgy business school as the Allams.
That sort of makes it worse and proves my point. Some said the American buyers weren't good and yet are happy with this lot, when at the end of the day we know nothing ( not much ) of either party.
When they do **** off that's when the council & all the fans should have a parade & civic reception! Everyone in the streets celebrating!
The Allams have consistently made profits from their business dealings. If the price is right they will make a profit from selling Hull City. The Chinese property market collapsed leaving a lot of debt. The fact that Dai Yongge found a $1 billion to pay off the debts of Renhe shows he still has access to a considerable amount of money. However if Burns' guess is wrong, as it appears to be, we just have to wait until the new owners are announced.
My thoughts exactly. Unless the Chinese have put in two bids - one to compete before mid-August to give them time to buy players and a much lower bid if any deadline is missed.
The only way i can make sense of this 1st September nonsense is that Allam was using it to try and flush out the bids (in a similar way to his Monday deadline). Ehab knew that any buyer would want the club before this date and by saying he wasn't going to sell until after it, it would force any interested parties to at least make contact with him. Again, complete guesswork here - but if Ehab panicked once the Americans finally walked away, he needed to know that he still had something on the table so played his tried and trusted card (make up an imaginary deadline). If we are sold I expect it to be before 1st September. If it doesn't make sense to us, then it sure as sheep doesn't make sense to anyone about to get £80million (or whatever it is) out of their pockets
I'm sure my head is just going to explode soon. I just don't understand what is going on or who or what to believe anymore. The only positive out of all this **** is that it's made me realise how important City are to me and how much I want things sorting out so I can just go and watch my local team play football again without all this ****.
That's actually quite weird - I honestly didn't change the name at all. I was writing a comment about the Mirror quote then my computer ****ed up. Very strange. Unless OLM is Waggy too.
How much debt do you have to be in to need to sell off for 1 billion. Its a worry. This whole sale makes no sense from start to finish. I know Allam is a millionaire businessman and I am far far from it but its clear that the club has been ran in such a confusing way from the moment the idea of the name change came about.. as the mirror statement earlier says we are a joke.
Stan !!! Only when you see can you believe. To believe any speculation is foolish until its becomes reality. Burnsys just getting twisted around being fed bullshit. I know hes got a job to do but come on Burnsy lets not report everything you're told.
