Probably read over 1000 posts re new signings in thread bare squad, we have signed a single solitary player must of us have never heard of, the season starts in 4 days time.

Can someone spin this and make me feel better about oncoming season. We only just survived last season and we are so much weaker.

Why can we go into a season with a good window behind us, match fit together and ready for the challenge ahead from day one. Is it any wonder we cannot win a game year on year (is it first six winless)

The fiasco regards mvila, little lesser with yedlin. Losing allardyce to top premier job.

Now I am sure Moyes is working hard behind the scenes but for sure right now after first 11 which I think just about capable, couple of injuries and we are in big trouble. We have of loaded a lot of deadwood but it was wood, we cannot start a fire right now.

Now I wake to these serious sounding rumours about Kone, the centre back who has played all pre season with Kaboul, who have looked superb, and that he could be off.

It might be nothing but all these factors have got me questioning my whole love of football and my beloved Sunderland, we are a top six football club, with ambitions of fourth bottom one.

Someone talk to me about KTF.

For what its worth 13th I feel very similar, went to bed last night fuming about the Kone rumour, but to-day I am more resigned that if it happens so be it, hope it does not of course but this is the nature of football to-day. And if he does leave we will just have to replace him. Its all down to market nous, and in Moyes we have a manager who's record is very good in this respect. Onwards and upwards <ok>

I remember McMenemy taking us down to the Third Division mate.

There's a long way to go before they lose me.

I often wonder how Alan Brown would have coped to-day, not very well, in my opinion, in hindsight he wasnt that good then, but he did lay the foundation for the 1973 team, trouble was it took him about 30 years, of so it seemed. <laugh>

Thanks for your constructive criticism and your wonderful words. This is of course why these boards are here, to discuss topics, read the Kone thread, a lot of us are actually seeing this unbelievable short sightedness. Whatever your not worth debating with

If you're proper fan, you can never turn you're back on it. You can become disillusioned, angry, sad and frustrated. It can make you call the club up and down. But you can never leave sir. I think you know this. ;)

Of course you are right and going through all those emotions currently. Don't suppose you can ever give up, but do you think the owners no this, as in doesn't matter what you do the sheep will follow. Suppose the question was simple, or the answer, we can take it all on board and never feel the heights of our potential certainly in the foreseeable future ?

That team sprit and partnerships (ie Kone/ Kaboul) are what have made Leicester a fabulous story, losing a king pin if it happens a few days prior to the season is rough.

Oh don't get me started on Short mate. Think i've battered enough heads going on about it. Not being prepared to cope with Big Sam's approach from the FA was the last straw for me. I think he's been taking the wrong risks personally.
