Apart from I used to live in Horsforth, go to ER etc.....

But I'm sure you're an expert on Ipswich.

    Pathetic reply. Truth hurts?

You used to live in Garforth so you think our team is weaker?

When did I say I knew anything about Ipswich? I couldn't give a rats arse about small clubs!!

Why would you care about the size of a football club?

So you don't think you're weaker this season in goal or up front then?

No we have gone from Kasper and Higgs

Kasper arguably not as good as Lonergan
    Rachubka Better than Higgs!

We have had no change up front apart from possible signing of Mendy! but Paynter has scored pre season so is probably classed in a better frame of mind this year, explain where u think we are weaker and ill prove you wrong

Lonergan is not as good as Kasper.

Your injuries to Becchio & Somma.

Lonergan's a decent bit better than Kasper. Kasper is only rated by people who've only ever seen him on TV. His mistakes were responsible for a few lost games last season. Becchio's out for 3 weeks! Hardly harms our promotion chances.

It seems to me there's a lot of over confident fans appearing on here from Ipswich, Leicester and the like. Has everyone forgotten Middlesbro's performances last season after their preseason spending sprees.

I suggest opening Humble Pie shops in Ipswich and Leicester, as there's some serious money to be made once the season starts.

My bad, last I heard it was a couple of months.

So you wouldn't rate KS' saves over the **** ups? I'm surprised that you think he cost you points last season.

Fester and Wet Sham look like run aways for the top two so it leaves the play-offs for the rest of us. :(

It got to the save where every goal winning save was countered by 2 goal conceding mistakes. Off the top of my head I can think of at least 9 points his mistakes cost us. His positioning could be woeful at times. I look back now and the number of times I still had faith in him but thought "Actually, that one was probably Kasper's fault" is staggering. Of course the Leicester fans have only seen the Hollwood saves and the show-off posturing and think he's brilliant.

Why do fans of other clubs come on here and tell us Kasper is brilliant? You saw him on the games on TV, when he was brilliant, but he was **** in loads of other games.

Ipswich are overated, and I actually do know a lot about them. They've lost McAuley, Norris and Wickham. So far they've brought in Chopra (good signing, but way overpriced), Jay ET (average for Cardiff last season), Stockdale (great signing, although only a loan), Andrews (average), Bowyer (good but he's 35), Ingimarson (average) and Nathan Ellington (pathetic).

That's a handful of good signings in Stockdale, Chopra and Bowyer. The rest are average and wouldn't make it into a lot of Championship sides. So far you've replaced Wickham and Norris but you still have a crap defence - Delaney...

    We have a stronger squad.

Chopra (no protection from Welsh FA at Ipswich!!) and Bowyer (Old and frustrated when he can't do what he used to) will spend the majority of time suspended, that leaves Stockdale, OOPS!

Granted re only seeing him on TV. That's why I didn't know Leeds fans didn't rate him as highly. Maybe having that name helps......?

Chopra overpriced at £1.5m? Granted JET is an enigma.

Delaney's looked solid with Ingarmarsson next to him. Cresswell looks amazing at left back. Decent goalie in Stockdale.

Not much in it regarding the stronger squads but you may shade the first 11.

Everyone knows what you're about this season though (i.e. style of play & players) and you're going into the season with injuries. I'm not doing your chances down, just stating the obvious.

I don't think there's much in it between us but Ipswich fans are optimistic for the first time since Joe Royle 04-05. We've been in this division longer than anyone so a brief foray up would be nice.

Should be as tight as a duck's arse though, have a good 'un

Everyone knows what where about so

Scenario 1 - Stick 2 players on Gradel, frees up Snoddy and Howson

Scenario 2 - Stick 2 players on Snoddy, frees up Gradel and Howson

Scenario 3 - Stick 3 in midfield and Snoddy and Gradel will run riot

Scenario 4 play 6 in midfield, you may stand a chance :)

West Ham/ Leeds do have the best midfield in the league.

It's a good job Paynter will be banging them in for you <ok>

That's what forums are for. I'm sure Simon will agree it was a perfectly good-natured discussion about the depth of our midfield. If we all just agreed, this would be one hell of a boring place. Or are you talking about something else here?

Is that Thomas, the black winger on the left for cardiff, because if it is, its probably the worse performance ive seen from a footballer ever.

    Horrible, makes me cringe

Yes the right tall one, the second worst performance I can remember by a footballer lol (the first been Taraabt at Elland road when he went and asked to be subbed haha) Ipswich have paid 1.25million for that guy aswell
