... Musa, Mandy, Kaputska and Hernandez could all force their way into the team ... as could Gray and Amartey for that matter ... Mendy was our first choice dfensive mid before Kante ... yes Kante then had a phenomenal season ... I'd go as far as saying that Musa is the most exciting striker acquisition by any EPL team over the close season ... United fans may say Ibrahimovic but let's face it, he's only here for a last pay cheque and is on the way down career wise ... ... must be very exciting for you to contemplate James Milner's performances at left-back
... can't tell from this tbf latest ... note the word "present" ... not a bonus ... just a gift of appreciation ... http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/w...ddhanaprabha/story-29596935-detail/story.html
Blah Blah Blah... Without Kante you've conceded 10 goals this week. Yesterday your back 4 were all over the place. Kante would have stopped Linegard from scoring... These are facts, mate. Musa looks good, but he's been playing in Russia ffs. Mendy is nowhere near the quality of Kante, you know that, I know that, everyone knows that. The rest of your dealings in the window, strengthen your squad - that I agree with. But your first 11 is weaker. Without doubt. You WILL come back and say it's a squad game etc etc etc. Here's my answer in advance. Ranieri didn't tinker last season, when he does tinker he fails. Good luck Milner is quite capable of playing LB. We have Moreno too, plus Klopp is in the market for one. Possibly Hector with any luck
The 'plucky' Leicester story is now starting to get right on my tits. Can you **** off back to midtable mediocrity please. Thanks in advance
... lots of people predicted our demise when Camiasso left ... we came back stronger ... whilst I don't think we can possibly repeat what we did last season I still think 'the team' will continue to improve once more ... we are well placed to gatecrash the hereditary top 6 party for many seasons to come ... Kante is a loss but it's far too early to predict hiow his leaving will effect us ... Mendy is a different type of player and is only just getting up to speed .... but is getting better game by game .... Klopp might want to have a look at one of his old clubs for transfer targets ... Mainze for instance
ooooh you ungrateful bitch ... we've just let you have Steve Walsh to help you escape from decades of that particular malaise
Your 2 CB's had their Indian summer last season mate, I can't see them repeating that achievement without the energy of Kante protecting them tbh. The way Lingard waltzed through you yesterday is a prime example of what lies ahead imo. You'll still be a decent side and Musa's pace is a great addition, but I think you're in for a dose of reality this season.
... in all honesty I share your thoughts about the centre back pairing ... but Hernandez is actually a cenre half and was excellent there when he came on against Barca ... Amartey too played there for Copenhagen ... so I'm not unduly concerned because Ranieri is astute enough to change it if he needs to ... ... but Lingard rode his luck yersterday (fair play to him) ... that won't be typical ... King and Albrighton look unlikely starters for me once the season gets going ... and we were markably better against both Barca and United once Mendy came on ... also wouldn't be too surprised to se another midfield acquition before the season starts ... we have been linked with William Carvalho who looked good in the Euros ...
We've been linked with Carvalho, he's available for about £20m Don't forget teams now know how you play, unless Ranieri alters it I think you'll find sides much better prepared tactically when you rock up this season,
ho hum ... it was a fine individual goal but the ball ran for him with the missed tackles (particularly Morgan) and even how it reached him initially ... Schmeichel got something on it which on another day might have sent the effort wide or blocked ... as I said a fine goal ...
United coped quite well with Leicester's long ball football yesterday. They needed Fellaini to play Vardy in.
Ranieri has been told to spend whatever he needs by the owners ... so the transfer fee wouldn't be a blocker ... I think Ranieri will alter things a bit this season ... but we will undoubtedly base our attacking around the pace of the forwards ... I think we will undoubtedly have the quickest front line in the EPL ... and, in fairness, teams set themselves up against us differently for the last quarter of last season ...
I'd be absolutely shocked if he went for that mate. I know DMs don't really command the biggest fees but I thought he had an immense Euro's and he looks to be exactly what about 5/6 PL teams really need. Lisbon would be mugs to let him go at that price
