is this a storm in a tea cup? Will a couple of top drawer performances from Jazz placate the acolytes of the Ayatollah movement? I sincerely hope so, it would be a shame if this becomes a focal point of a players time at our club. We're all different and Jazz may well think the Ayatollah is, well, silly.

 

I think it's silly Taff. But if you were paying me a lot of cash and asked me to show some loyalty to my new club to appease the people who spend their cash to watch me play, I think I would have done this harmless silly thing.

His best option would be to do it, although I don't agree someone should be bullied into doing something. Yes, it's a relatively new tradition at the club and it's a laugh, but when isn't it a laugh? Essentially, it's possible he could be driven from the club if he doesn't show respect to the fans (paying customers) for not doing a silly gesture.

I have read Jazz has insisted he did do the Ayatollah and has had talks with PT about future games.
