I really enjoyed Mean Machine, (the British one).
But my favorite is Cool Hand Luke.
    Any suggestions?

Shawshank is a great film, but for me not the all time classic status it has, so I put Green Mile above it.
Not a prison in that sense, but 'Old Boy' ( half way through watching a remake English version - the original was Korean I think with subtitles) is about a man who is imprisoned in a room for 20 years. He thinks he escapes. but in fact was allowed to escape. Question is why he was imprisoned in the first place and why he was allowed to escape.

"What we've got here is a failure to communicate." I'm not familiar with a Stallone film entitled Escape plan, Was it a POW movie? Was Pele in it?

I had a 400 pound black coworker who recently retired. He wasn't really fat though, he looked more like a former player in the NFL. We all called him "Big Boy" like the character in the movie. He was very charismatic and had a great sense of humor. Everybody liked this guy. He was known for charming all of the managers and supervisors. But he just loved Mrs.Obama. During one of those presidential campaigns, he was sticking up for her in the locker room. Someone called out, "What are you doing with Obama anyway, you're always with the white folks." To which he replied, "I like the white folks, I sure do -- but I never said nothin' about voting for them!"
