He has that opinion and he could well be right.....I think it will be one of those where we win a few on the trot and we will lose a few on the trot and end up much the same as last season and safe....I think there is only one place left myself as hull and Burnley will fill the first two places. The last place could be any of us outside the top 8.....
8th is ours .......at least ! . We are quietly putting something together and I've a good feeling about the team and who's putting that team together without pressure being on them . I'd bet at top 10 right now than I would on bottom 10 ....so 8th sounds about right .
What was it after our best ever season under Monk we were saying ??? Top 6 no problem . Don't forget everyone else have strengthened as well so it wont be easy....Every game will be a cup final until we get enough points for safety.....there are no guarantees in this game.....
I think i will wait until we have played our first 6 game to make my prediction...I hope our finishing improves 100% that all as im very confident that we will dominate most teams...
My predicted team selection: Fab Naughton, Fernandez, Amat, Kingsley Cork, Fer Barrow, Siggy, Routlage Llorente TBH I'm feeling confident we can get a result here. 0-2 swans
4 more sleeps before game one ..........3 sleeps if no sleep Friday night . Hope the coaching staff, under Guidolin's Guidelines , have left no stone unturned in their quest to shape a winning side under a calm series of " summer classes " . Naughton : He needs to grasp the opportunity handed to him by Mr.G . Fer : ooooh mama , counting on a big season from the " Bouncer ". Cork: Massive influence this season IMO Ki: Again , I think a lot of people are walking past this guy .....I'm not one of them and Guidolin won't , eventually , be another. Ki's back in the good books after this season Kingsley : Only 1 and or 2 things is going to happen , Kingsley will take over and be the next Ben Davies, or Taylor ups his game and focus because of Kingsley . Routledge : Hitting a new phase , which includes scoring . Barrow : Ready ! Montero : who knows really ? Dyer: who knows really ? Llorente : Hope he gets an extra few sessions on the bike and in the gym . Britton : going to be used " inspirinsparingly " Guidolin : I think he liked his team from the minute he walked in the door .It will be interesting to see how he worked with the team over a period of time without pressure . Prediction : Huw and Curtis will get it on sometime this season with Jenkin's taking the brunt of the melee . PS that's the same lineup and predicted score as I've previously predicted swan_and_only ....(whistling )
Guideline speaks.... http://www.swanseacity.net/news/art...guidolin-has-backed-borja-baston-3241735.aspx
Wow ! I always suspected that Guidolin liked the team he inherited but after listening to that , I may have unestimated how much . Now Guidolin got me more optimistic , I'm trying to contain myself ......having a bit of trouble though . Dai will be along to try to steer me away ...lol
Nothing wrong with optimism that is more blind faith than anything.....I hope the pundits and bookies are well wrong but i dont think they are especially losing strong players like Ayew and Ash......We will see after 6 games whether we will be ok or not.....
-----------------------Fab------------------- Naughton-----Fed------Amat----------Taylor Barrow-------Cork-------Leon(C)--------Routs -----------------------Gylfi--------------- --------------------Llorente---------- 2-0 and a lovely 3 points!
