Home win. I think we will give a very good account of ourselves. Trollope back at the Mem of course as well. I'll go for a 2-1 win. Its annoying that we play on Thursday because where Oxford play on Tuesday, they get 2 extra days advance on us.

Yes. Thats why our game got moved to Thursday meaning our game vs Oxford got moved to Sunday and the Bolton game moved to Wednesday. Sky has messed us up here. We could be bottom come Sunday without playing and knowing our opponents on Sunday would have 2 more days extra to prepare and rest than us. So all of a sudden we got pressure on us. Then when everyone plays on Tuesday, we play Bolton the next day so not only could we be bottom, we could be way behind getting out of the bottom 4. I know its early, but sky has messed us up a bit. Lets see how DC and the players handle it.
Our fixtures are a right muddle for the first few weeks. Hope playing on Thursdays and Sundays won't affect us too much.1-0 to The Gas...
'Hope playing on Thursdays and Sundays won't affect us too much' Hope Junior has takes this into account in 5 years.
Should of done better a Scunny then really ! Bloody Balloon Fiesta, always away first up and more often than not getting nowt from it ...although I do recall el maximo at Feethams a while back.
Can somebody tell me how we can be in the draw and have the dates published when the matches will be played for the group stage of this daft cup competition when we haven't played Cardiff yet
The 2nd round draw was made a few hours ago and it gone a bit weird. Because the draw is still on seeded teams vs unseeded teams, where we still havent played vs Cardiff yet, our match against Cardiff has affected the draw seedings which has had an impact on a few clubs including our neighbours South of the river. Basically, City or Cradiff have been drawn against Scunthorpe and City or us will face Chelsea away.if Cardiff beat us, they will be the seeded team How it works... If Cardiff win, they will be seeded and will visit Scunthorpe, while City will face Chelsea away. If Rovers win, we will be unseeded and will be away to Chelsea, with City away to Scunthorpe.
Utter madness CJS, but a great incentive for your boys tonight, beat a fairly local rival, shaft the real rivals and pick up a nice away payday and fans outing at Chelsea. I don't think DC will need much of a team talk, just show the team the permeatations of the draw, that has to be incentive enough, surely?
