I am not sure what your talking about here but the very lovely Mrs Godders keeps lots of clean sheets handy. She says she needs them and then gives me a strange look.
Everton fans charged £20 to go see that friendly against Espanyol. It was £12 (£8 for season ticket holders) for us, plus you then get to go to Athletic Bilbao for free. I guess the extra cost of the ticket must have been for the privilege to see all the world class talent they're buying.
Hats off to the club. They are certainly getting some of these fan engagement things right. Not enough credit sometimes, perhaps I need louder sandals...
It's great to see a player show an interest in the history of the club and the sport and share it with enthusiasm. Oriol seems to have a curious mind. I had no idea about the association between Bilbao & A.Madrid. I just thought people got the clubs mixed up when telling the kit story.
Another young man who suffered under the lure of bright lights at a big club. He'd probably be delighted to spend the next five years with us!
Interesting to see if they've managed to improve the sound system in the Kingsland (as promised). Always thought it was dangerous....could imagine that in an emergency evacuation, three stands would be emptied and everyone in the Kingsland would be saying, 'Yer what?'
