Okay, I can see I'm going to have to get the crayons out for you soon. Please explain to me and everyone else how "Kill All Huns" is bigoted?

 

It's to do with sentiment of the statement and the context of the word, Huns, one would imagine.

Perhaps you would like to explain why it isn't, it sounds bigoted to me, but i'm no expert. Why is it not then?

How many times do you need to be told, the word (perhaps a grey topic in Scotland) is seen as sectarian here in Northern Ireland.

This has been confirmed by myself and others on here from N.I (from both sides of the divide), backed up with some evidence of from the guardian newspaper as well as other internet links.

The lawyer of Neil lennon and the unoffical club spokesman has begged Celtic fans to cut it out and used it in the same line as black players getting pelted with bananas.

If you are ensure of the true meaning, of how other people are offended by the word or the repercussions that might follow using it, I would suggest that you do us all a favour and stop using it altogether.

I would be interested to hear Mick's take on this. To have the moderator of the Celtic Forum say that there is nothing bigoted about, "Kill all Huns", suggests poor judgement on a David Cameron scale to me.

 

One, it's good of you to suggest that it's a grey topic in Scotland. It's actually not. That's just another lie you made up. In Scotland, hun does not mean anythng sectarian as has been explained to you by just about every Scottish based OF fan on here.

Second, the ONLY person I've seen on here being offended by the word is YOU. Until you dragged your mopey arse on here from 606 no one gave a ****.

Third, Paul McBride is not the official or unofficial spokesman of Celtic. That's yet another lie on your part. He has never once said the word hun is sectarian so even including him in your argument is bizarre as it just proves that you're in the wrong.

Four, I will not stop using it.

This place was full of Celtic and Rangers fans calling each other huns, taigs etc. and no one had a problem with it till your turned up and started all this offended ****e. And the Rangers fans have the cheek to call us o'fended!

It's offensive, not bigoted. That was the point I was trying to make though it's lost on the less intelligent posters on here (no offence son!)

 

Kill All Protestants is bigoted, Kill All Rangers fans is just common sense

 

And so the sectarian hatred continues.

 

It's not sectarian. To me, and most others, the word hun means Rangers fans.
