Got too agree with you Percy here i mean the Pearsons and Allams are really taking Hull in the wrong direction. You know by saving the club from administration and existence, bringing in really shoddy players like Koren (international captian), Fryatt (proven one of the best championship strikers) and a host of players from this naff team called Manchester United or something, all at sensible prices. It was much better when we had Duffen in charge making sensible bids of £12m for Nobby Negredo of which we could definitly afford :S and even throwing Dowie in their as manager for a laugh. There are definitely pessimistic times ahead for us city fans....oh wait
I think you would find it was adam pearson who hired Dowie so thats not on duffman but the rest is correct probably but it was never a straight out £12m it was to be structured.
That thing with Duffen really annoys me, if he really is more innocent than he and Percy make him out to be then there should be no problem answering said questions.
I'd say we should care if what he is doing out of work is affecting what he does in work. I'd think in most jobs it would be the same, if i turned upto my job hungover/pissed or whatever i would expect consequences for my actions.
OLM, Jimmy to be sacked by Friday(probably).[/QUOTE] Any chance you could ask Adam to hold back any announcement until saturday? Chants of "you're getting sacked in the morning" might help the atmosphere on friday. Unless of course the chants of "theres only one Jimmy Bullard" drown them out. Also, could you ask him to make Bullard attend. Ta
I'm afraid the timing of any announcement is way beyond anything I can influence, though I think I can say with some certainty, that he won't be in attendance.
I have to agree with Percy in some respect, I don't really care what a footballer does off the field in his spare time for the most part, 'Mr. King I'm looking at you' But if a player is behaving poorly or badly when on club time then it shouldn't matter how much they are paid, how talented they are, they are representating their employers and their behaviour should reflect that. You wouldn't go on a company trip, get steaming drunk while wearing your companies uniform, because if you did, you would soon find yourself holding your P45 and looking for another job.
Pretty much. If we're going to announce his sacking this week, it will probably be tomorrow or at the weekend, we won't announce it on a match day.
spot on. Percy your a fool. Time that you not only woke up and smelt the coffee but also drank a cup full.
HOPE NOT PUBLICLY. Dont want it to over shadow the friday game do we. ? Keep it until monday for when the letter arrives at Bullards home. Let friday and the weekend be one of celebration of a great Hull City victory.
62 posts on a thread entitled "Ipswich are obsessed with Bullard!!" and (until now), not one from an Ipswich fan!! and you say we're obsessed with him?? Nevertheless, good luck for the forthcoming season!
