Nope, they came back well and ended the game at 4-2, should really have been a lot closer.

 

Not really. Barcelona should have been 4/5 nil up in the first half

We've just seen how far behind barca are in terms of season prep today.

Leicester did come back but did get their heads handed to them early.

We just got our goals and only gave them 2/3 chances. It wasn't bad but I can see barca were not sharp today and not down to an amazing press.

Agreed barca werent at the races today but we really didn't give them a chance to settle.

Some positive performances today.

 

There was a stat on the screen at 3-0 that said shots.........Liverpool 5, Barca 7.......on target......Liverpool 2 Barca 5
You were the better team but the score was a bit lopsided.

 

The shape and positioning is what's important... some indications of where guys will push and how they will drop back in.

I felt the midfield had issues of shape today, they were pulled about in first half.

But in general there was a good shape to the right side in particular

 

Given we scored 3 from 2 shots on goal yes one could only assume the score did flatter.

 

The own goal doesn't count as a shot on target

Quite simply picked Barca's pockets. First goal and third goal were well taken.

 

Fourth wasn't too shabby either

Looking forward to Origi develop further this season. He's gonna be a real asset in the future.

Cheers, I'd managed to see the first three goals but not the fourth.

I'll be happier once we do that against a decent side though
