I am a rather senior City follower, but I cannot remember our last opening day vicfory. And of course whilst I am typing this we have probably coceded a load of goals.

 

Britt has scored today for a 2nd time. Surely. If we want to insure automatic. Stick in a big bid for him tonight. If we were gonna bid 12 for McCormack, Bid 10-12 Mil tonight to get him in. I feel as strong about him as I did for us to bid for Pritchard. He would improve us massively.

I'd say Blackburn away is a harder fixture than Barnsley at home. I'd say we are still showing them up.

 

I'm amazed Josh didn't get played. We wont get many games like this where we can afford to just "give him a run out" We have put on Whittless and Mulumbu.....Who both (hopefully) don't really have a future with our club.

Well, the first half was total class, Second half, Blackburn were so worried they made sure it was a scrappy second half with no real football being played. Didn't matter to us, the job was done. Ruddy was a worry, I'd be surprised if he starts the next game. He had nothing to do, and still failed.
