Anyway, why is Ayew leaving? What did I miss? Is he that desperate to leave/ £20 million is a good deal for The Swans', so well done to all concerned, but I feel a little sick to my stomach that he is going. He's a class player.
If we sign Baston I'm not too fussed with Ayew leaving because we have Dyer, Routs, Monty and Barrow who are better wingers, Gylfi who is a better AM, and Llorente and Baston are natural strikers. They will give us a much greater balance on the pitch.
We'll also needs CB if Williams goes . I think we would be ok with The 3 remaining CB's but a quality CB if Williams goes would solidify everything .
The press keep banging on about Borja being an Atletico Madrid player - he was out on loan at Eibar all last season - the equivalent of maybe Bournemouth here, and now they are willing to sell him. Doesn't inspire me.
Well we don't want players that don't want to stay, so getting rid of them at a massive profit is both wise and ok
It's the same thing, we will move beyond them should they leave, our game today shows we can live without them
Exactly , Williams and Ayew might want out because of Jenkin's for all we know . And if you think bringing in players like Gomis , Tabanou and Eder andthen ditching them all is a brilliant piece of work by Huw .... Well , I don't know what to say .
For me Ash is leaving because he see's that there's no ambition at the club to become more than we are already. The club is happy to tread water in my eyes.
But that is just speculation, Huw may not have any bearing on them wanting to leave! And those players you mentioned have not worked for us, it's not just game time but on the practice pitch and training, they have to excel there before being picked by the manager, Huw will have very little to do with that
