Don't know what Mancini's problem is. He's not going to play him.
Wouldn't be happy at getting Ricardo tbh. I never rated him apart from his penalty saving, useless with crosses in particular. And furthermore I just hate the bastard. In fact I hated that whole Portugal team. It would piss me off a bit if he was playing for us.
If we're not going to get Given, stick with Weale. He's good enough.
But for the love of God have a number goalkeeper by the end of the transfer window. Can't be doing with anymore uncertainty and changes, cos it won't help, especially if it's the goalkeeper.

Think he'd have to be with us for 28 days defore the 24 hour recall clause kicks in; if so I can't see Mancini takin the gamble

In the case of a goalkeeper, Clubs may mutually agree, if they so wish, to include a recall
clause in the agreement to enable the Club for whom the Player was originally registered to
recall the Player at any time during the loan period. Players, other than goalkeepers, may
NOT be recalled within the first month (i.e. 28 days) of any loan period.

Sky seems to think Man City are up for it. But they just say a championship club not Leicester, but who else is there no one. QPR dont have the sort of money we have to spend plus they have a good keeper in Kenny so that rules them out and there is no one else
