West Brom the outsider of 3 at 12/1 to be top Midlands club TopClass. That's got to be worth a couple of quid hasn't it? Leicester 1/4 and Stoke 10/3.

I think Liverpool will be competitive this year, they're my favourite prem club, watched them quite a bit when i was a kid, i just wasn't confident enough to put them in my bet with only two places on offer in prem

Agreed mate. This is Klopps team now. So no excuses this year if he fails. I really do think that 1 or 2 of the Big names Managers will get their P45's during the season. They all can't win the league/Champ League. Interesting season ahead mate. Defo

I received a very similar e-mail from Coral a couple of months ago. Needless to say, I closed down my account and have advised all my mates not use the w*nkers anymore either! Bet Victor are notorious for restricting/closing down accounts when they're not making money out of them on a regular basis and are another bunch I always advise folk to steer clear of

Give it a couple of weeks and when some of those no-hopers have lost a couple of games, you will be able to get 5000/1.

In June, Hull City were not even being quoted in the Relegation betting because there were rumours of a foreign buyout and uncertainty over Steve Bruce staying. When Bruce initially said that he was staying, Hull were Even money for the drop. When Bruce walked out, they went to 4/6 for the drop.

As I understand it, they currently only have thirteen fit players and there looks to be little prospect of them getting any more in, plus they still have a management vacancy. I have suggested to a couple of my Hull-born colleagues that they should take their boots to the season opener against the champions as they might get a game or they might be doing the half-time team talk. Cannot imagine why Chris Coleman would want the poisoned chalice of working for Allam jr – Mike Phelan might be scrubbing ‘caretaker’ off the office door soon to just leave manager.

Cheers Chelsea, quite liked the look of Sir Roderick thinking he could continue his winning ways so at the prices can afford to do both and a Rev fc.

Philip Makin surely must be looking at a ban after that. "No harm done" said the commentator, unless of course you'd had a decent bet on Grand Inquisitor ffs!

Something I am trying to stop doing is chasing losses but I am going to make an exception today.

One that I was not chasing my losses on was Grand Inquisitor as he was given absolutely no chance last time, so he was not on the radar for the Haydock 2:00 – well beaten favourite.

INNOCENT TOUCH (Newmarket 3:50) was just pipped over course and distance in a similar event last time but now has Tony Hamilton back aboard and Richard Fahey is not disparaging in his SportingLife.com column so I will give him another chance off a three pound higher mark. Not sure why Mark Johnston’s three year old Beaverbrook is favourite for this, dropping in trip after being in the pack in a rough race at Goodwood last weekend.

In the Haydock 4:15, I am minded to take on the hotpot Gershwin because it is more than a stone higher than when last winning two races ago. The well-bred Abdon disappointed at Royal Ascot but Mark Johnston’s ODE TO EVENING was just touched off at Goodwood having previously won at HQ and is only three pounds higher. If allowed an uncontested lead, he could steal this.
