I really would feel a bit better about today if we were going in with a new Striker. I still don't have a gut feeling of how today will go. Think I'm sticking with 1-1. Being Positive.

The new season is upon us officially with KIO's match day thread Cameron Jerome. He'll bag us a few. It's his replacement, backup or upgrade we need to be finding and a few more weeks of the window to do so before it slams shut.
I really hope he finds the goal-scoring form of the last Championship campaign. I wonder if the torrid season last year would have knocked his confidence. Haven't seen him play well for a long time now.
You can't be on the beer already!!? I'm pretty nervous, but even I haven't started yet! Going to go play tennis this morning, try and trash out some nervous energy.
Jerome looked good in the pre-season and scored a couple of goals, which should help. Be great if he scores today, but we have others who can score as well.
As we don't normally do well in the opening games, I'm not feeling that hopeful. But it's good to have the football back.

I've seen quite a few of the bird poop ones surprisingly, IMO they look like a pyjama top and I wouldn't be seen dead in one
I'm quite tempted by the away strip, but will probably buy the home one, as I don't think I'll be going to many away games this season.
