Bias aside mate .......... they were terrible.

Wrong starting line up, wrong tactics, wrong subs, wrong defence & wrong attack.

If Benitez doesn't adapt quickly to lower league officials, opposition and tactics he'll be sacked by Christmas.

That was pitiful and Newcastle looked like they expected to turn up, pat Fulham on the head and win 3-0.

Benitez suddenly looks like a massive liability.

 

I know it's only one game but......they didn't look overly clever out there, too many new starters and why on earth did he,take off his best player in the ginger pirlo.

Im sure the mags are gonna rip that league big time.

But tonight was a wake up call for them.

Its a tough league! Every point has to be earned.

 

He was pretty good I thought. Hanley (as I expected) was utter gash. To be fair the team was. The ref didn't help either.

 

Only having 2 pitiful attempts on target didn't help ........... don't expect lower league refs to help Newcastle, they'll be against you.

 

The first penalty claim could have been given, but not a stonewall penalty by any means...The second penalty claim was clutching at straws...No way was it a penalty..

I think this must be quite a shock to the system especially since The Comicals predictions of never losing a game, hammer the league, promoted by Xmas and all the rest of that garbage. It will be interesting to see their take on it.

I think they`ll get back up but it aint going to be the easy ride they thought it would be. That rag has a lot to answer for imo.

I reckon Rafa is immune at least for the moment. It will be the fault of the previous managers and Ashley before Rafa comes into the firing line but it won`t take many more bad results before they turn. A little run of bad results now and it could get really nasty.

 

I always thought it was they were built on the Wear in parts then hauled round o the Tyne to be fitted out and finished as they had deeper water for the finished ship.
