What I find hilarious about this post is that Balotelli would be incredibly similar to Altidore. Grigg would at least have hunger and enthusiasm to perform in the PL.
A bit of realism is needed here, we haven't got a cat in hells chance of signing somebody else of Balotellis ability
I don't think your judgement of strikers is very good to be brutal mate, I'd go with my own opinion on this one
Gave him his debut at Inter as a 17 year old raw talent ahead of experienced international strikers, liked him so much he brought him over to England. Balotelli set up the most important goal in City's history. Why don't we? Liverpool are absolutely desperate to get rid and Mario has had talks with much smaller clubs than us.
I was referring to his time with Man City where he didn't do much beyond a debut season, which is remembered because of the assist you refer to which papers over what was on the whole an underwhelming display. Out of interest, do you think Balotelli is a Hernandez clone?
You need to go to bed mate, I said Grigg would struggle like Altidore. Are you on the Victoria Bitters or something
To be honest I don't think you have a Scooby Do about strikers so laughing at my opinion really backs that up
Forgot he was actually signed the season before they won the title, that was the season I was thinking of. Only 1 goal the season after and was shipped out after that.
Why don't you just pipe down for a second champion. You think Hernandez and Balotelli are similar strikers so you're a clueless muppet.
How was I to know that? You didn't stipulate at City. I don't think he's a clone but they have a similar likeness on body language and work rate, which I'm guessing the poster was referring too. Mario though is much more 'back to goal' and physically dominating than Abel.
Get real mate, who do do you think we could sign who is any better than him? He was at Liverpool and Man City for a reason. He's lost his way so with the right fella to coach him we could pick up a world-class striker who has been written off, what is he 27-28?
Bojack was saying we needed an Italian to get him to play well in England, I suggested Mancini didn't do too well with him. The context was pretty clear. How were you to know that? Read the whole conversation and not jump in the middle in an attempt to disagree with me. Yes. Balotelli uses his physicality and hold up play - or back to goal as you refer to it - which was precisely my point. Hernandez uses pace and skill to get in behind defences and on the end of a through ball, he's not a physical striker at all.
He actually has a few attributes that are better like you mention. I can't see a player like that coming to us unless we had an foreign coach like Zola though, no chance Phelan would put up with a disruptive player
