signed for Reading for an undisclosed fee.

    Good riddance.

Never liked the kid either as a player or a person.

Can't agree with that. Would of torn this league up, like he did last season at a **** Colchester side. Very frustrating player, but then again he is a young winger.

It also means we need another player to replace him.

Also - he probably went for something like £100k.

At what age are players no longer considered to be young... the fella is 25...!!

I think he would've done well in L1 but I doubt his absence will be felt in tge dressing room.

I agree he would have done well at this level, as he showed when he was at Colchester. Do not understand this at all; Is our squad that good or strong enough to let him go, of course not!! He would have played a lot of games this season. If one of the wingers(?) is injured and out for a long time, we will regret this. Who is going to replace him?

How many times did Harriott consistently perform in a run of games over the last 3-4 years.

The "promise" has long since disapated and been replaced by frustration.

He's not worth crying over, but following his form in league one last season it does make you wonder "what if". It also takes wingers a bit longer to mature as it's a position where you can go missing for large parts of games if you're team is on the back foot.

To be fair, he never had a real run of games.

I don't think he'll be too sorry to leave going by his enthusiasm for Cousins' departure, maybe that's the reason. I thought he was ok on the left or in the hole, never had a good game on the right.

Likewise, think he would have been alright for us in L1.
But the amount of times coming away after a game with Harriott being sh!te & a laughing stock outweighed the times I came out thinking cally had a good game

In the Championship I would have flogged him but in division three he would have caused problems, should have kept him.

No point keeping him if he wanted out. Near the end of last season he laid on a goal for JBG, but completely ignored the celebrations, seemed very odd. Then his Twitter response to Cousins exit, I think he wanted away. Don't blame him.

Slade said he only wants players who want to be at cafc he obviously doesn't.
Very hit and miss for me ...more miss, though scored vital goals v Watford to keep us up and of course his Blackpool hatrick BUT apart from that very little.
Poor decision making poor end product tho could turn out to be decent wouldn't be surprised to see him star or flop at Reading.
Know he used to cosy up to Zaha and Bolasie on Twitter ...tho didnt know his Twitter response to cousins leaving as he'd blocked me by then
I questioned our players commitment last season and that was it ...so me and Callum fell out ...
What it does mean another player short really need reinforcements .
Slade wanting 5/6 supposedly he meant with out another 2 or 3 leaving

I keep reading we need to free up wages to bring in new players. Yeah, like all the ones that have gone ( sixteen is it now?) were playing for free.
As for the Harriots, I think judging by the reviews of him at Colchester, he would have carved a new one for a few teamsat this level. Water under the bridge, that's another shirt that will need filling, and we actually had soeone who thrived at this level last year.
Still, if he wanted away, why keep him if he was unhappy. I'm sure Katy negotiated the best price possible. NOT!

    Oh yeah :emoticon-0107-sweat:emoticon-0102-bigsm:emoticon-0102-bigsm:emoticon-0102-bigsm

Anyway... I'm still not bothered :emoticon-0102-bigsm. On his day he was decent and would've done well for us in League One (his level IMO).

However... In a Charlton shirt he has about as many 'days' as Santa...!!

With a small squad we need to know we can rely on players to perform more than once or twice a season.
