As far as the Leeds squad goes I would expect it to be trialists, youngsters and maybe 45 minutes from those returning from injury.

A win is a win, who knows, a few goals from Grella might give him the confidence to move up to the next level...

I think the only time he's ever played more than 5 minutes was at Kettering. When everyone's fit he's our 5th choice striker. Basically he started knocking on the door a couple of years ago and is still knocking, but less viguorosly.

Clean sheet though which is something to take heart from. When someone posted 3-2 I thought it was going to be last season all over again. As long as we score one more than them....... (fingers crossed)

I think it's more a case of quietly sitting on the step waiting to see if the door opens.

When players could still post on Twitter, I got the impression that he missed Leeds and the other lads when they sent him out on loan. He seemed to be back in Leeds at every opportunity. Pissed SG off by insisting on coming back from Swindon and even with Becchio and Somma injured and Paynter and McCormack not exactly wearing the net out, I think he's still miles from getting a game.

I think Grella's still got a lot to offer, especially with Somma out. He could take up his 'impact sub' role.
Unfortunately it seems if you cross grayson you're finished.

I think refusing 2 loans and then walking out of one is a bit more than just crossing Grayson.

Give him another chance,if he's sorted his attitude out he'd be invaluable to us. We're not exactly inundated with quality up front,& Grella has quality.
Anyway its up to him if he wants to turn loan moves down. I thought he'd accepted a loan move to Motherwell but that broke down because it breached Scottish FA rules so that wasn't his fault,& as for Swindon no-one really knows the truth behind what happened there.

But turning down loans to League 2 because he thinks he's too good for it isn't a good sign. Anyway, it looks like he might get a second chance since he's been given a squad number and his profile's back on the OS, also he's complying with the Twitter ban.

Its a big ask for Grella, as he has been sitting on the sidelines for the last 3 years, and don't think he has figured much in pre season either, but fair play to the fella, he wants to play for us. Does anybody know where Kandol is playing these days ???

The Leeds connection runs even deeper than that; this is a pretty interesting read if you haven't already seen it.

we may need a winger because Grayson mite play Snoddy up top in a 442 as he is a center forward if you rememeber, Also Gradel can play as a SS as can super Nunez

He's not a centre forward. He signed as a striker/winger but he is not a centre forward.
