Defence seems the most changed area when it comes to cost. Alderweireld is £6.5m for example, that's more than most strikers!

He is expensive but there are 2/3 cheap decent ones.

I got one decent keeper. Two very decent defenders plus 3 4mil ones.

Midfield is mix of 3 expensive and 2 cheapies

Forwards are unimaginative two very expensive and the obvious one.. origi injury has me moved off him at start.

    We will see.

I've played around with my squad a few times, quite happy with all areas now. However, until the season starts is very difficult to tell. End of august is judgement time, it's also wildcard time too lol

    Who knows.

Performance of the newly promoted and old reliables goes a very long way to deciding.

Any discussions on the mourinho v sweinsteiger stuff?

I see a lot of whinging going on in europe.

Fifpro calling it bullying... lawyers saying mourinho would get jail.

Meantime lfc have balotelli with kids and sahko sent home in disgrace ....

    Kind of funny i reckon.

I think the difference is that Schweinsteiger is a national icon and known as one of the most professional players in the game. Mourinho's treatment of him stinks of him trying to make a point and ushering LVG's dud marquee signing out, rather than being based on anything Schweinsteiger's done.

As was posted on our board

And Rummenigge is baffled by the development towards Schweinsteiger, who retired from international duty with Germany at the end of July. "Nothing like that has ever happened at Bayern Munich."
Schweinsteiger forced his way back into the first-team fray at Bayern after being told in 2005 by then-coach Felix Magath to train with the reserves since he did not have a place for him in the first team.

So yep, mega bullshit and funny as **** :emoticon-0100-smile <ok>

Lets see.... 2005... the swein would have been 21? Teeling a 21 year old to train in reserves is a wee bit different but i do agree it is mega bullshit given balowanky having been with u21s for 2 years.
