In an effort to raise the tone I am going on record stating again that we will finish in the top half ... I fear no comments and it will be clear to see where we all stand. I simply don't buy the rubbish that we aren't a good side wake up we are! we are hard to break down and have players that can win games. It's time to get behind out team not try and drown it. Depends to a large extent on who buys us and how much they invest during the season. The Premiership this year is going to be pretty damn competitive
There always seems to be one promoted club that goes bonkers and does well forst half of season - Ipswich, Hull, Blackpool etc etc. The trouble is sustaining that form over a full season. Top half I think is unlikely but I do have us staying up in 14th / 15th berth plus a nice win against one of the so called 'top 5' - Manure / Chelsea / LPool / City / Arse. I hope its Chelsea

I reckon there are loads of positives about the club: Warnock is a great man-manager; Dyer and Gabbidon have been shown to be better than many expected in friendlies; we have signed a striker who has played for England; all players will be massively up for it naturally simply because it's the Premier League; Warnock has lots of Premier League experience; Helguson seems to be scoring loads of goals; Paddy Kenny is up there with the best top-flight keepers; we have a big squad able to fill in for any injuries and many have Premier League experience. There you go!
Helguson : Last night at Crawley played very well as usual ... having come off he warmed down in front of me and us 400 odd gave our appreciation ... i could see into this eyes feet away as it happens .. he cares big time even if its at Crawley Town ... about time we supported him he will play his part this season. we have a team like that .. salute!
