'Stoned wallabies make crop circles'

Australian wallabies are eating opium poppies and creating crop circles as they hop around "as high as a kite", a government official has said.
Lara Giddings, the attorney general for the island state of Tasmania, said the kangaroo-like marsupials were getting into poppy fields grown for medicine.

"The one interesting bit that I found recently in one of my briefs on the poppy industry was that we have a problem with wallabies entering poppy fields, getting as high as a kite and going around in circles," Lara Giddings told the hearing.

"Then they crash," she added. "We see crop circles in the poppy industry from wallabies that are high."

Animals aren't stupid. When I was working up in Skye a few years back we always knew where to find magic 'shrooms because the sheep used to love the things!

 

There's loads of animals that like to get high, from rotten fruit that turns alcoholic to monkeys nicking the booze from tourists.

You can see where they're coming from, jumping pissed from tree to tree would be amazing!

A few years ago a Brazilian footballer, Edmundo, held a birthday party for his son and bought a monkey along - the adults got him really pissed and he trashed the house. I quite like that idea.

 

You could invite barnsley_boy over next time you have a party.
