In the real world the Wendies will finish well above us, and if the dog botherers perform as well as they appear on paper they will be the team providing shocks this year. Nailed on to be above us IMVHO. Newcastle - will run away with it Norwich Wendy Derby- will go up this time! Cardiff Villa At the very best we are fighting with about 10 teams for one spot. I feel dirty saying it but that's how I see it!
Morning all... Bridcutt is meant to be signing so he can be available for the QPR game, so today or tomorrow. Who this French Guy Doc is talking about? If we are talking about promotion I think Newcastle are dead certs to be on top come the end of the season, wouldn't be surprised if they go unbeaten all season. 2 to 6 is anybodies game. We've expected teams to go straight back up but ended dropping down like a lead balloon. This league is unpredictable IMO
Who this French Guy Doc is talking about? Kemen from Lyon apperently, plus Monk now chasing a spuds kid for CB slot. McGreedy went to Villa for £12m
Morning all. Perico looked poor in the one game I saw. So fully expect either Beradi or one of the kids at RB. looking through the team and the support they will get if they turn on the style, I think we should make top 6 easily. The bar codes and others have splashed the cash, but do they know what's coming their way in the Championship, and have all their prima donnas got the bottle for a fight? On McGreedy, I would still have him back. But to again move for another £12m, his agent must be doing well.
heard Leeds had a 30% sell-on clause added in the McContract sale, but this seems high as average is usually around 20% ... even so, a 10% clause would mean a nice windfall and maybe (or should I say hopefully) a decent defender being bought Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
It's £400k of £12mill, but somehow is £600k for the £14mill villa are actually paying. Cellino will be on grade A this weekend.
That was on the £12mill Norwich were prepared to pay, before greedys agent started the auction in which villa stumped up £14mill and now it's £600k as a result.
Afternoon Boggers, I like Monk. He has turned down around 5 or 6 of cellino's choices. He won't accept them unless they are right for the team
Phil Hay @PhilHayYEP 39m39 minutes ago Scholl is Belgian 22-year-old. Was a youth player at Anderlecht and now plays for Benfica B. Monk has said no to Gabriele Perico. #lufc
monk has told Perico no no no, so we need defenders again Somebody mentioned a £400k sell on clause think it was Stats, nut hearing that we got cash up front so no sell on ? The guy I mentioned the other day Alexis Scholl is now back on the radar as a full back
Glad we're not taking Perico. He had one opportunity to show he had what it takes to play at least at Championship level, and he failed miserably. Any truth in the rumour the 'Wall have put in a bid for him?
Josh, sell-on clauses work two ways ... a percent of profit or a percent of full fee ... WBA had a fat percentage of full fee tagged onto Roofe (because he was not a big money sale to the U's) which is why Oxford held out for the figure they wanted as they knew they were going to have to give a big slice to the Baggies ... with regard to McContract it will probably be a percentage of profit due to his already high transfer to Fulham, so the £400k being mentioned sounds about right ... for Leeds right now ANY money coming in is helpful, and we so badly need more defenders Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Cardiff are ****, Derby won't go up, don't recon Villa are anything to be worried about. So I disagree with that a bit.
