Kwame I think it's fair to say that most on here, are only concerned (And rightly so) regarding the Muslim nut jobs, you know the ones that think they are pleasing Allah with there butchery? No one on here has ever made a disparaging remark regarding Ayew and his religion, well not that I've seen...........
Yes he is, I remember reading a 12 month back about his religious view, but maybe Kwame doesn't like the 'Lesbos thread', just a guess, but it's a tough one for the peace loving Muslims............
Think a person's religion has sod all to do with anyone, and demonising someone because of it is completely idiotic. I don't care about skin colour or religion at all. Some of my very best friends are Iranians, they came over here in the late 70s to escape the revolution and Iran/Iraq war. They are lovely people and have gone through a lot, some of them couldn't go home for almost 2 decades for fear of reprisals. Now some are getting ****e since brexit, there are some real fukwits in this country!
I agree Phil, absoloutley. And again, you are right in that the Lesbos thread led me to make that particular comment. Unfortunately there are a few who are not as measured as you, commenting there, with some literally calling for all muslims out, etc. I don't for a second think this is the majority viewpoint held on here, but maybe for those people, the fact that Andre is a practicing Muslim can help to show not everyone involved in the religion is a psychopath.
Thought this was a pretty fair post actually , all compartments of it . The defensive part actually really got me thinking we might need a defensive " utility " player . Was really informative to find out Ayew was Muslim and I knew exactly what Kwame B was throwing out there about people being happy he might be gone ( within all Muslims ).I guess all the immigrant Muslims could still be back in the countries of their origins ... lying around in unmarked swallow graves . I remember a time when some players would not play on a Sunday and yet in most religions Saturday is regarded as the Sabbath... That would really fcuk things up if they took their religion seriously
