Lallana went to Liverpool for £25 million, so did Lovren. Benteke went to Liverpool for £32 million Ayew is leagues above them, at £20 million, we are getting mugged too. I wonder if Huw has the brains to tell Ayew if he wants leave, he waivers the reminder of his £8 million sell on fee. I know I'd give him that demand.
He's 31 years of age Roof. Too old to be our first choice. Now him as a number 2 behind Baston and I'd be happy. Still need a 3rd striker though.
Good is good , some players slow a bit but play better with expierence . Also , Ayew will probably have a release clause and 20 million set it off . Ayew got his most goals with us in top flight and got 4 of those goals in the last 4 games . 20 million is a good deal for us IMO and enables us to start over again with " Normal " strikers and wingers ....where we were pulling a wrench out of the gears of sorts .
Off topic Watching Rooneys testimonial and Everton are very average. Can't understand why Ash 'wanted' to go there. Could argue it would have been a backwards step in terms of position in the league table.
