Watched that last week, thought it was very good. Just watched The Forest, it's not about Brian Clough but a horror film with Natalie Dormer from GOT set in Japan. Was pretty good and you get to watch her for an hour and half which is nice! Can't see her coming back to Game of Thrones either seeing as she has just been vapourised along with the High Sparrow. 8/10 The Forest
My Mrs has got them all, loves films around that period, she's also got The original miss Marple, I must admit I like them also, Margaret Rutherford Was brilliant in them....
It was, set in the 70s, not a big Clive Owen fan but he's good in this... Oh!! And mila kunis, my god that girl is Fine!!!!!
Watched Escape Plan with Schwarnegger and Stallone, was OK for what it was 7/10. Amy Ryan is quite nice too in it
Saw BFG last night (long story), the effects are well done and it's a reasonable watch, but the main girl in it spoiled it for me, it was like she was acting in a school play.
Followed Des's tip above to watch "Green Room". An interesting angle on a familiar theme. Cheers Des. That led me to an earlier film by the same writer/director called Blue Ruin. Even better imo. Great cinematography and again a refreshingly different twist on a familiar story line. Also enjoying the convoluted Mr Robot S2 at the moment too. Even deeper and darker than S1.
Night of the Living Deb. Low budget but decently written and Deb is fit. Good watch for a zombastic comedy. 7/10. On the note of low budget movies, some that you might have missed but are enjoyable: Tucker and Dale vs Evil, 2 guys are mistaken for your typical horror hicks, but they're just trying to help. 8/10 Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer, great for fans of cheesy 80's horror, it's even got Robert Englund in it. 7/10 Dead Heads, guy wakes up as a zombie and enlists a couple of zombie friends to trace his true love. 6/10 and one of my personal favourites; Frequently Asked Questions About Time Travel. British geeky film with Chris O'Dowd. 8/10
Day 220, film 220,"Red2" and earlier "The good dinosaur".... Film I watched with the grand kids and now watching film4....
Watched The Godfather trilogy over the weekend. Still the greatest first two installments of any series ever. Part 3 isn't really that bad. Nowhere near as good as the first two obviously, but still decent.
