Go on then, it's the second time you've written that, I'll bite. Diame was an employee of the SECOND biggest basket case club in Premier League history, he's French, he has no affinity with Hull, or Hull City. He's gone to a club who have, an easy guess, offered him more money than he's on now with more to come when/if they're promoted this coming season, he's gone to a club who actually look like they've finally got their act together, he's gone to a club where he'll be working with a manager who has won honours at top clubs all round Europe. If you don't think that EVERY player in our squad wouldn't be out of the door in a flash, given the same opportunity as Diame then I'm guessing you're probably as daft as I think you are. Mercenary? If you say so ...... he's a paid athlete with a short shelf life - he owes us ****-all.

Edited to add the word SECOND .... how could I forget poor old ****ed up Pompey?
The ****er wanted out last season. Never wanted to play in the championship, just remind me which division Newcastle are in.
The lad is undoubtly talented but didn't show it anywhere near enough.
Right now our club is a mess but Diame leaving has absolutely nothing to do with that.
He wanted out a long time ago.

They absolutely are, no doubt, I did say in the Premier League in my OP though pierre - and as you'll recall, it didn't go tits up big style until Blackpool were relegated.
In which case, no, there has been no PL team in as big a shambles as us now......what awaits is the question as to whether the Allams do an Oyston.

Completely agree LBA. Jones plays like a bull in a china shop. His footballing brain is practically non-existant. That Hodgson picked him for England's World Cup squad (over Davies) says more about Hodgsons total cluelessness on player evaluation, notably CHs, than Jones abilities. At least Man U. have recognised his mediocity over the past two seasons and want rid. No way will Mourinho use him. Hope we stay well away from this one...never mind the wages....he's just second rate!!
Couldn't agree more CT, and the bonus is you've saved me responding to the other posters who appear to think that he's a class act <laugh>

Just so you're crystal clear, and just for you I'll repeat myself, I'm going on record as saying that he's overrated and I wouldn't want him at my club for the likely cost in fee and wages.

You said you didn't rate him at United or for England. I'm not sure how that translates into him not being good enough for us. He isn't overrated at all, not by our standards anyway and he wouldn't cost a high fee or have high wages because he would be a loan.
