Have to go for United again myself. Bought well and if the move for Sneijder comes off which I think it will then they'll be even stronger than last season when they won the title in the end comfortably by 9 points.

Chelsea could go well under Villas Boas but don't see them having enough to overcome United. Torres is still world class on his day no matter how badly he faired last season but I still don't see how he fits into this Chelsea team and it will be interesting to see how the new man in charge plays it. Still could do with bringing a couple of real quality players in to give themselves a real chance.

Man City had a very good season last time out and Augerro is a fantastic signing who for me was made for the Premiership. Tevez will go to Inter I feel with the transfer being funded by the sale of Sneijder but I don't think he will now be as big a loss with Aguerro there to take over. Silva was awesome last season after adapting to English football with ease and Yaya Toure has been another quality signing. A big threat this season and could easily overhaul Chelsea and push United all the way.

Arsenal, and in particular Wenger, really piss me off. Fabregas should finally be allowed to go and sit on Barca's bench and the money (along with the money stashed away from previous seasons) should be spent on giving the team a spine that has been missing for years! A top goalkeeper, a top centre-half to partner Vermaelen, a quality defensive midfielder and someone 10 times better than Chamakh to help RVP out! Wenger's insistence on playing people out of position doesn't help either (Walcott has never been a wide man and neither has Arshavin) and they could face a struggle to finish in the Top 4 this season.

Liverpool have spent very big since January and now seem to have more midfielders than some teams have players!!! Suarez is another that's made for the Premiership and was absolute quality last season. Adam is a good signing but Henderson was an expensive and un-necessary one in my opinion. Defensively they're nowhere near strong enough to compete for the title but pretty much like their pre-season I can see them scoring plenty whilst leaking a fair few as well.

Tottenham have genuine quality in the likes of Bale, VDV and Modric but really do need to bring in a few more top players to have a chance of making the Top 4. Friedel will do a job short-term but a centre-half and you'd have to say at least two strikers are needed at the very least. Not being in the Champions League will certainly only be a good thing for their league form and I can see Harry giving the fringe players a run in the Europa. The ability to be more solid at key times and perform consistently against the so-called 'smaller' clubs is also needed if they're to kick on again.

It's United for me though, with City possibly pipping Chelsea to second. A straight fight between the other three for fourth with Liverpool just beating Arsenal to it. <ok>

I went for United. They always look weaker on a player-to-player comparison against a team like Chelsea, but seem to be better as a team and can always get the resutls.

Fair play to whoever went for Spurs, though. But I wouldn't bet too much on it this season. We'll have to strengthen for a couple more season yet, IMO.

I'd let them name their price for Spurs to be fair! <ok>

I like Redknapp though and like watching Spurs play. Would like to see you finish in the Top 4 again but just can't see it this season.

Maybe if you could get Rossi and a couple more....

I've gone for United, though I am biased. I'm not always confident we'll win the league though; it's tough league and the competition are strong. But if we sign Sneijder, along with the signings we've already made, I'll be the most confident I've been since Moscow.

I'm not that biased that I always back United. I wasn't too confident this time last season. Ancelotti's double winning Chelsea side were pretty rampant in 2009/10 at times, and we only made a couple of signings in summer 2010, both of which didn't look like they were going to make a huge impact straight away (though they did, to be fair). But this season, with the signings we've made, and the fact that none of our major rivals have strenghtened that much.

Jones for me was a key signing.... a very good young prospect along with Smalling that will ease the pressure and be capable of stepping in with Ferdinand being prone to a fair few spells on the sidelines in recent times.

Young is proven in the Prem and as mentioned I believe they will get Sneijder who is a quality footballer.

I hope so. He could take us to the next level and allow to actually give Barca a game next time we play them!

Though there is part of me which would like to see us blood a couple of youngsters and put the chequebook away for the summer.

I'm hoping for a new "marquee" striker to convert the chances we provide that our current strikeforce can't. Then we might be able to break top 4 again.

    Good man. <ok>

Possibly, though Welbeck's behind Rooney, Berbatov, Hernandez and maybe Owen for a striker spot, so he's going to have to push hard to get a spot. But he is good enough. I've not seen as much of Cleverley, but he might find it a bit easier as we are not blessed with much choice in terms of attacking midfielders (unless Sneijder comes in) <ok>

    Man Utd
    Man City
    Chelsea

Can't see the others being too close to these 3.

Man Utd look the most solid at the moment with a settled squad but some good additions here & there but if Man City buy nother couple of good players they could put in a challenge. Chelsea have done little to suggest they will be better than last year so imagine they will look to bring in a couple before the end of themonth.
