I don't know why folk on here just don't put certain posters that annoy them on ignore? It's actually made the Celtic board on here readable for me again, getting to ignore half the pish posted by certain folk.

Then if same said folk post on GC, and I actually want to see what they have said, I just click see post. Simple as that.

I know. Ignoring KPR made the United board more readable, before he got banned of course. I also have others on my ignore list, like this OP

If I see grafitti using slang words directed at a certain part of the community, I know exactly what it means. I don't take the head in the clouds approach like yourself.

Never posted anything on here showing support for terrorists. Posting a band video of a regimental band from WW1 is not exactly the same as your "We should be able to sing IRA songs at Parkhead" tripe.

    A liar and a hypocrite?

A bit rich coming from the fella who said that the police should not have fired water canons on nationalist rioters in Belfast, but rather wait and see if the trouble fizzled out. Then you said that the police were too slow to act against unionist rioters in the East of the city.

You said that throwing bricks and petrol bombs at the police was "understandable" as was rolling a burning car into police cars.

Think we've all grasped, what type of person you are.<ok>

    Such as?

Excuse me, I never realised the IRA were such flower power anti-violent hippys? Its funny that you label people who were opposed to home rule as sectarain bigots, yet one of the reasons for opposition was Belfast being run from Dublin despite prospering very well under Brisith rule. The other of course was the fear that from protestants that catholicism would take precedence over their own beliefs. Remember there was about 300,000 protestants in down South. A lot of them driven from their homes and murdered by the IRA in the 1920's. You seemed to forget about that.

Smuggling guns from Germany but never used against the Brisith Government? With the pistols handed over for use in WW1 and later the police force. Rifles that were smuggled in were not used in Battle until they were handed over to be used by Britain in WW2. A bit different from the IRA's relationship with the Nazis in WW2, didn't one of their leaders Sean Russell die aboard a German U-Boat?

When talking about history, i seemed to notice you leaving little important pieces of information out.
    I wonder why? <whistle>

you got any pictures of this common graffiti Mendes? Ive never seen it. and ive been in many a rebublican area with pro ira graffiti all over the place

IM not goign to lie ive not seen kill all taigs or huns, or protestants, or fenians, or catholics and so on and so on.

Im not saying i know for certain if it exists or not - simply asking for evidence of it. If its there it will be easy for you to show? Indeed much easier to show something does exist than does not

In Belfast: Segregation, Violence and the City, published last year, Peter Shirlow and Brendan Murtagh managed to measure the effects on everyday life of the frontiers marked with graffiti saying 'Kill All Taigs' (Catholics) or 'Kill All Huns' (Protestants).

I've been in both Republican and Loyalist areas and it does exist. There is no denying that.

If someone wrote on a wall "Kill All Blacks" does that mean the word black if sectarian?

    The IRA are murdering scum.

Speaking from the experiences of my family over the years and irrespective of the politics involved, they have been murdering scum since the 1920s. I have lost an uncle, a cousin and an aunt in indiscriminate killings and another cousin, an off duty RUC officer, shot dead in front of his children. He happened to have led a team that discovered a large quantity of heroin weeks beforehand so I doubt his murder by the IRA was coincidence.

They have forced my father's cousin from his land. He had a farm near the border. They knee capped his 15 year old son in order to force him to accept a low offer from a Catholic land owner to take the property from him. He is now in hiding after going to the police.

These people were just normal folk who's lives and the lives of their family have been destroyed for 'ra cause'.

So for anyone to wax lyrical about any romantic notion that they are freedom fighters is just disgusting. They are as bad as any common criminal gang.

A similar story could be told on the opposite side of the divide I'm sure and it will be equally horrific. People who glorify terrorism will most likely never have seen the damage it can do to the victims that survive.

I could tell you an equal number of stories with regard to the British army.

just because you dont like the IRA doesnt mean others cant.
