By the way our chairman has denied any 4th bid has come in and has indicated that several clubs are waiting to see if our stance changes to enter the fray.

It looks like we have moved on from Maynard and gone after Shane Long with rumours we have made a 7.5M bid. I think we arent prepared to pay any more for Maynard because of his injury past

That will be very funny reading the posts regreting their cutting their nose off to spite their face and wishing they had all that money we were offering so they could buy a replacement

 

We can sign Maynard in January for around 2M as his contract will be in the last season months. And if we are doing well and they are struggling both clubs will jump at the chance

Quite simply if Maynard loved BCFC so much then he would have signed a new contract months ago...interesting that he hasnt dont you think?

 

Bristol fans like to forget that point. You have offered Maynard the best deal you can and he still hasnt signed. We havent even spoke to him yet and he knows we can offer alot better terms. That is what he is holding out for. If he wanted to stay he would of signed a new deal by now and If Prem teams was interested they would have made their move by now

 

Why is it when we had nowt and were going nowhere everybody quite liked us? now we are actually investing money into other clubs ,some would say over investing ..bringing money into the game, the whole of football hates us and wants us to fail?typical of this country...ambition is frowned on...doing something out of the ordinary is derided by jealous small minded people...if it was happening at another club i would envious, but hoping it would benefit us in some way..ie. transfer fee's etc...my advice to these other fans is put pressure on your board to follow our lead..start looking for your big investor, so you can keep up...instead of dragging us down..aspire to be like us....thats the better way...not one single fan in this division wouldn't want to be in our current position...they know it....so don't rain on our parade....

 

Im not saying for 1 minute that Maynard is loyal or anything.

Lets put it in real terms shall we?

You work for a company that is going about its ways quite steady and you are well established in the market, another new company comes into the equation and promises to offer the world, when realistically in the immediate future, they can not offer anything more than what you currently have.

Now if you read the above statement, can you now see why Maynard has not signed for you?

When will you realise, that this season, you can not offer anything that we cant?

 

Maynard hasnt signed for us because he hasnt had chance to.
