I certainly hope you're right. I feel due to FA inaction we need to act fast or we could struggle at the bottom end of the table and we've been through that too many times recently - quite fortunate to still be a premiership team.
He said premier league players would remember his Everton time but we need quality players here very soon - is it a combination of Moyes and Short preventing them comming or is progress being made in background by Baine .....
May have been crossed post I was referring to Nads post at4:28 -not Moyes statement. Sorry for the confusion - I'm still not forum savvy
What is our current profile ........ PL side for a number of years, top class support in a top class stadium, great infrastructure, high percentage of international players, manager who's last UK job was one of the best club sides in the world, previous manager chosen for the national team, long term billionaire owner who goes to the games, etc etc etc. We're not exactly Hull City are we?
I wonder if the Stones to City deal depends on them getting a replacement in quickly - I agree they are starting to look desperate if the press are to be believed
I agree with you but others not so close to Sunderland see a dodgy premiership team, unstable management and struggle. Geographically not perceived as attractive - until they get here and then the area & people are magic (despite the horrendous council mismanagement imo) But with the Tall Ships comming here shortly and POSSIBLE City of Culture --- may change the poor PR of the city. Onwards with hope
