See this type of job would give me an enormous sense of job satisfaction. While I enjoy what I do I often don't get to see the fruits of my toils but being able to say each time we crossed a bridge - I painted that. Did once get my name on a well proposal that came in big time but I feel pretty stupid when I fill my car up at the petrol station saying to the Mrs "I discovered that".
Was in the royal navy and was on duty over new year got caught by petty officer seaman sneaking 6 cans on board .knob head reported me I got 3 days punishment.same knob was on duty on new years eve and had me brassoing/pollishing hatch clips till 9 at night.duty petty officer engineer walked passed asked what the feck and who the feck had me doing such a ****e job on new years eve .told him he told me come to the P Os mess later i went in he said what you having, turned round to the knob and said that ok with you, knob mumbled something .I took great pleasure in having those 2 pints but will never forget having to polish hatch clips on a new years eve
