To be honest, I actually have that sick feeling in my stomach at what is happening, I firmly believed after what had happened at the end of last season in the transfer window and our near escape, wouldn't be allowed to happen this year, We signed Guidolin on a permanent and although not my choice happy that the club had backed him. I then naively thought he would give a bit of a list of what positions and players he needed and the club would get out there and start strengthening and bringing in players ready for pre season, baring in mind we knew players would be out because of the Euro's. But, none of that has happened, we Potentially could lose 2 more very influential players, there is no signs of anything coming in that will improve our squad from last season, a squad that albeit finished 12th, but struggled for long parts of the season and played some horrendous football at times. Now there is no signs of any improvement and it makes me feel sick that this great club is being let down, not by their fans but the people running it. My son in Australia has been keeping in touch and everytime is asking if there is any news on players coming in and the answer is no. His last text was I am worried we are going down this year. All I want is now to see a change around in the next week or so, make all us doubting Thomas' wrong, make those signings, make the squad stronger than last season. I will happily eat a very very large helping of humble pie.
