    I saw moments last season where he looked a quality player. He was inconsistent but he was adapting to new country and league.

    Agreed, but I like a more physical/dominant player in that role , and Oriol does a much better job for me. The amount of times when he's Come on as sub in a 2nd half and I've instantly felt more calm and confident.

    Yes, that is the thing that concerns me. Each season I predict that Saints will go better than they did the previous, despite any minor misgivings on squad strength. This season is the first time I'm really hesitant to say that. However, the transfer window remains open for a long time.

    Right now I think I am more worried by the new system than needing any more signings.

    I'd have been quite happy with a front three of Tadic left, Austin central, Long right, with JRod and Redmond off the bench.

    But so far I've not been convinced but the front two (including Redmond) pushing wide and Tadic in behind..... Hoping that I'll be more confident after seeing it in tomorrow's friendly.
