Can understand this signing. Very versatile and has worked extensively with Puel. It also looked like Targett had a nasty looking injury in the first couple of minutes in the last friendly, so this signing makes sense as decent squad player who knows the way Puel likes his wing backs / team to play.
Guess he is a Puel selection and fills a need, but we are not totally convinced enough to give him a longer contract.
Yes! She must talk about me alot I'm guessing , when Shes on Facebook messenger, because she don't use it for it anything else!
When the lovely Mrs Godders texts her friends she refers to me as DH which I thought must mean dear heart or darling husband or some such like but I was shocked when she told me what her friends considered it meant.
These signings are all well and good but we're going to seriously struggle to score goals if we don't sign at least one more forward. And the Watford game is getting ever closer. I'd rather not wait until deadline day.
I'm pretty sure we will. As I said on other thread they're not the most exciting signings but they're ones that needed to be made so good to get them tied up now.
Have you lost confidence in the striker you were so excited about when we signed him? He'll be available for Watford game. Don't panic.
Tadic will create. Davis will find a little 5 yard ball into Charlie. Shane will create space for him. Redmond will create problems with pace. I'd like another one too, but even if we don't get one until deadline day, we have enough to start. I don't get the panic to have to have one now. it's about the squad not the eleven, so just imagine that the new bloke we haven't signed yet, has been signed but is injured.
Only player who can do that is Inaki Williams. You may well see him on Sunday!!! But he would be very expensive at around £40m. Could Les use all his powers of persuasion and get James of Real Madrid on a season long loan? Would be an absolute dream.
